McCaul Street and Grange Street, Toronto, ON
PATCH, in partnership with OCAD University’s Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers, and Tridel, one of Canada’s leading developers, have partnered to exhibit the work of OCAD U students and alumni in a street gallery hosted on the future site of FORM condominium. A call for artists was circulated in fall 2017 and we were thrilled with the overwhelming response we received. Of the over 120 applicants, we are delighted to feature the works of 14 artists and designers, selected by an independent interdisciplinary committee of OCAD U faculty:
Exhibit layout has been designed by OCAD U Alumnus, Kellen Hatanaka.
Boldly conceived, beautifully considered, Tridel’s FORM occupies the space between singular landmark architecture and thoughtful urban design. This distinctive masterpiece presents a striking figure on the lively streetscape embodying the artistic energy of its surroundings.
