Since the early aughts, GETSO has been creating work in both the public and private sphere – working as both an individual and with collaborators to create large scale graffiti productions, murals, street art interventions and commissioned paintings.
GETSO has utilized the knowledge he’s accumulated over the years to transcend various fields of art by using urban art influences inside the gallery space and retro patterns and symbolism outdoors to break free of traditional graffiti techniques.
Situated at Bathurst and Richmond Streets, The Harlowe is 14-storeys and contains 220 units with premium finishes. The red brick exterior is designed to evoke memories of the neighbourhood’s rich and storied heritage past; this esthetic is further enhanced with the placement of cabling on the exterior as an homage to turn of the century construction.
