Night on the Town captures the excitement and vibrancy of the St. Lawrence Market. Inspired by the music of Miles Davis, colourful figures are dancing in celebration. Many of Toronto’s well-known jazz clubs existed in the east end, some just a few blocks away from Sherbourne and Front. These figures appear almost like large abstract shapes and from a distance should give the impression of vibrant waves of colour, rippling across the wall, capturing the energy of the neighbourhood.
