Wandy Cheng is currently an illustrator and artist working and exhibiting in Toronto, Canada. An illustration graduate from OCAD University, she enjoys creating playful works that embody contrasting textures and repeated patterns. When she is not lounging around local coffee shops with a sketchbook in hand, you can usually find her petting someone else's dog on the streets.
I love creating art that preserves the magic and innocence of childhood. My inspirations often come from my day- to- day interactions with people and nature, as well as the unfiltered conversations I've had with children, strangers, and friends. Using bright colours done mostly in watercolour, in contrast with detailed line work done in pen, I seek to bring a sense of optimism and energy to my audience.
