Artistic Statement

The majority of my work revolves around people and spaces, as I investigate themes of personal identity, human behaviour, duality and shifting perceptions. In my paintings I draw my inspirations from everyday life and memories. In my creative process I experiment with photographs that I take as well as images from found sources. I tend to explore familiar imagery suggesting a subtle transition from one narrative to another.
