1100 King St W, Toronto
This exhibit is brought to you in partnership by STEPS, CAPREIT and First Capital. Andre Kan’s featured work investigates the architectural interpretations that respond to our ever advancing society.
The structures depict the evolution of space, while also questioning the fundamental nature of being and the world that encompasses it. They are complex, but not yet anchored. Thus, Kan’s buildings remain a playful proposition for the viewer not yet tied to a specific place or function. Kan propels us towards an ever optimistic future where new connections and constructions have yet to materialize.
CAPREIT and First Capital Realty, two companies devoted to excellence within their industries, have partnered to develop Kings Club; a next-generation, purpose-built rental development in the heart of Liberty Village. With an array of on-site amenities plus a host of retail options over 3 levels, the Kings Club development is a major addition to one of Toronto’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
