Zachary is an OCADU Graduate and has been doodling, painting and making street art most of his life. During his time gaining a BA in illustration, the artist began a collective focused on murals and street art throughout the GTA and abroad. The collective has produced work with many individuals, small businesses, community spaces, and large companies (Maple Leaf, ABSOLUT, TIFF, etc) as well as garnering national awards. His roll as Creative Lead in the collective has been to organize many productions and facilitate working relationships between artist, clients and the community.
Zachary's personal work focuses on reused and found materials. It often questions the juxtaposition with the wastefulness of society and its detachment from nature and self preservation. Visually, his paintings are a balance of figurative and abstract influences that often reflect his life story; from an upbringing on a country road to adulthood in a modern metropolis.
